Dudu Tassa and Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood have unveiled a new live video for the song ‘Lhla Yzid Ikthar’, off their recent collaborative album Jarak Qaribak. The song, originally by Moroccan composer Abdelwahab Doukkali, is the third and final instalment in a series of filmed live performances for the album. The video was filmed live at the Hamam in Tel Aviv and sees Tassa on vocals.

Discussing the song, Tassa says: “Personally, the choice of the song I wanted to sing in this project was natural and straightforward. Abdelwahab Doukkali’s song 'Lahla Yzid Ktar' is well known and widely loved among immigrants from Morocco. The song has an elusive and beautiful melody which is moving, and it is quite challenging musically”.

The video follows other live-recorded performances of 'Taq ou-Dub' and 'Ya Mughir al-Ghazala', as well as the cinematic visuals of 'Ahibak'. Jarak Qaribak is released by World Circuit and produced by long-time Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich. The album sees Tassa and Greenwood cover songs from across the Middle East, using vocalists from different countries to the original songs.

Dudu Tassa & Jonny Greenwood will be performing Jarak Qarikak with shows from September 14 until November 10, including performances at Le Guess Who? in Utrecht and at Pitchfork Music Festivals in London and Berlin. For full details of the shows and tickets visit tour.jarakqaribak.com/dates
