Selaocoe Appointed Help Musicians Ambassador

Congrats to our current cover star, Abel Selaocoe. The innovative cellist whose work straddles the worlds of Western classical and his South African heritage has been designated an ambassador for music charity Help Musicians, with the aim of assisting artists in rebuilding their careers post-pandemic, while supporting them through current issues facing musicians in the UK, such as the cost of living crisis and problems related to Brexit.

Commenting on the appointment, Help Musicians chief executive James Ainscough, said: "Abel’s understanding of the dedication it takes to build a sustainable career in the profession (and the value of the support that Help Musicians offers), makes him an ideal ambassador for the charity’s work."
