WOMEX Coming to Manchester
WOMEX have announced that their 2024 edition will be turning Manchester into a haven of world music next October

Following this year's event in A Coruña, Spain, WOMEX, the premier networking and showcase event for world music, will be coming to Manchester in 2024. It has been announced that the event will take place October 23-27 with events set to take place at renowned Manchester venues including Aviva Studios, Albert Hall, Manchester Central and O2 Ritz, with an opening concert set for Bridgewater Hall and a film programme at HOME.
Best of all, as WOMEX is predominantly an industry event, is the fact that thousands of tickets will be made available for the public to attend the showcases, which routinely feature some of the most exciting names in global music.
