This podcast includes highlights from the June 2007 issue of Songlines
(#44),
opening with an excerpt from the new album by Björk, 'Volta', on One
Little Indian. We also have a track on this podcast of an 'Iranian Lullaby'
from the recent 'Rough Guide to Iran' CD as part of Kronos Quartet's David
Harrington's world music playlist. Exclusively to this podcast we have the
Kronos Quartet's very own version of the Lullaby.

Mauritanian singer and politician Malouma; Songlines news editor, Nat Handy,
reports on the latest world music goings-on, with music by Fanfare
