Anda Union on BBC World Service

Just in case you missed the programme broadcast a few weeks ago, the BBC World Service featured the horse-head fiddle-playing, throat-singing Chinese Mongolians, Anda Union

Matthew Bannister speaks to the founder of the group, Nars, and filmmaker Tim Pearce, Anda Union’s manager. The show was originally broadcast on February 14, 2012.

Anda Union blew us away with their performances at last year’s WOMAD and their debut album, The Wind Horse, was a Top of the World in issue #80. You can read their album review here or watch them perform in our tent at WOMAD here

You can still hear Anda Union and Tim Pearce on the BBC iPlayer here
