In 2006 the record label, ARC Music, flirted with espionage when they provided music for the James Bond film Casino Royale.

The next Bond film – Skyfall, released on October 26 – will feature yet another ARC Music track. The track is a percussion piece by Turkish musician Hüseyin Türkmenler. Entitled ‘Konyali’, it was recorded in Ankara, Turkey, in 2001 and released on Türkmenler’s album Turkish Bellydance: Nasrah.

ARC Music Licensing Director Caren Entwistle stated, “Hüseyin Türkmenler is one of our longest standing artists, so we are very pleased for his music to be featured in the film, and of course to be working with our second James Bond film.” Other major films to use the company’s music in recent years include Burn After Reading and The Constant Gardener.
