Help South American specialists raise money for new Brazilian music book
Sounds and Colours, the online magazine about South American music and culture, have begun an Indiegogo fundraising campaign to raise money for their next title. Following on from 2012’s Colombia book and CD, Sounds and Colours will next dive into the impossibly vibrant music and culture of Brazil.
The 200-page book will be filled with articles, photos and illustrations, along with an accompanying compilation album of new Brazilian music so the reader can become truly involved. Covering every inch of Brazil, Sounds and Colours will look at Brazil’s classic genres (samba, choro, forró, sertaneja) and the new cutting-edge sound of the country that is already gaining international fame. There are also interviews with Arnaldo Baptista, Rob Curto and Lucas Santtana.
In pledging money to the cause, which is intended to help raise the production costs, you can receive a large number of perks ranging from a thank you credit in the book to exclusive Brazil t-shirts and tote bags.
