The Melbourne-based 11-piece continue their already acclaimed UK tour with a performance at London’s Village Underground.

Paying tribute to the golden age of Bollywood’s psychedelic era, The Bombay Royale combine Tarantino-esque surf, wild disco and flamboyant theatrics. Featuring vocalists Parvyn Kaur Singh as ‘The Mysterious Lady’ and Shourov Bhattacharya as ‘The Tiger,’ their 2012 debut release You Me Bullets Love continues to reap its well-deserved merits.

We had the pleasure of hosting a CD signing session with the group following their explosive Glastonbury performance on the West Holts stage, which included a crowd surfing 10ft inflatable elephant nicknamed ‘The Colonel.’ Keep an eye out for this most royal of roving pachyderms across the UK.

UK Tour Dates:
Sat, July 20 – Larmer Tree Festival (Main Stage, 8pm)
Fri, July 26 – Cambridge Folk Festival (Stage 2, 8.30pm)
Sat, July 27 – Secret Garden Party (Where the Wild Things Are, 12:45am)
Sun, July 28 – WOMAD Festival, Charlton Park (Charlie Gillett Stage, 2pm)
