Richard Thompson, Seth Lakeman and Lau are among the musicians heading to Oxfordshire this August to help celebrate 50 years of Towersey Festival.
Founded in 1965 as a one-day event in the local village hall, the now five-day festival welcomes some of the biggest names in folk and roots music. Music has always been at the heart of the festivities, but the modern day Towersey Festival also embraces poetry, theatre, comedy and the renowned Children’s Festival.
The 50th anniversary celebrations take place between August 21-25. Tickets are now available at towerseyfestival.com.
