The Egyptian group Nuba Nour have announced that they are releasing a new and exclusive 7” vinyl next month to coincide with this year’s Record Store Day on April 19.

The Cairo-based collective, renowned for their hypnotic percussion and catchy call-and-response vocals, have recorded two exclusive tracks for the annual Record Store Day celebration.  The vinyl will include Nuba Nour’s ‘Dessy Lemon’ and a re-imagining of the Manic Street Preacher’s ‘Ready for Drowning’, which is sure to add a vibrant Nubian twist to the Preacher’s famous 1998 hit.

The full release schedule for Record Store Day will be announced this Thursday, for more details about the day and events taking place visit
