New album from The Bombay Royale incoming, July 7

The Melbourne-based 11-piece reveal a new single and video ahead of their sophomore release, The Island of Dr Electrico

The Bombay Royale are back, releasing the first single of their eagerly-anticipated second album, The Island of Dr Electrico - and it’s as engaging and fun as their first. Following their critically acclaimed debut, You Me Bullets Love, the Australian group have toured the globe with a sound quite unlike any other today, performing at Glastonbury, Larmer Tree, Secret Garden and WOMAD in the UK, and many more festivals abroad. ‘HennaHenna’ premiered on the Andrew Marr Show last summer, but is best enjoyed with its characteristically bizarre video that similarly draws on vintage Bollywood. If the first single is anything to go by, the new album is no less experimental than its predecessor.

The Island of Dr Electrico is released on July 7.
