Tamburitza band Söndörgő will perform at the Bishopsgate Institute in East London on Friday November 28, showcasing their unusual blend of Hungarian folk melodies and Middle Eastern influences.

Comprised of brothers Dávid, Áron and Salamon Eredics, and bass player Attila Buzás, Söndörgő’s tambura-based repertoire include folk tunes from the Hungarian and Croatian traditions, as well as classical music by Béla Bartók and Tihamér Vujicsics.

Their second album Tamburocket: Hungarian Fireworks was released in July 2014 on Riverboat Records and is one of our ten best albums of 2014.

Win a pair of tickets to see the group.
