Direct from São Paolo, Criolo returns to Europe in January ahead of the release of his new album Convoque seu Buda
Since the release of Nó Na Orelha, São Paulo’s Criolo has become one of the most influential new voices in Brazilian music. His new album Convoque seu Buda (to be reviewed in the March 2015 issue, #106) solidifies the rapper’s reputation, with a scathing socio-cultural rhetoric that resonates across the Latin continent.
On January 22 Criolo will perform at London’s Village Underground. Tickets can be purchased here.
European tour dates:
January 21 – Glasgow, ABC
January 22 – London, Village Underground
January 24 – Berlin, Gretchen

January 30 – Lisbon, (venue tbc)

Convoque seu Buda was released on December 8 on Sterns Brasil, with an LP version available from January 19.
