Soundcrash Presents: Tru Thoughts, February 23

Posted on February 20th, 2013 in News, Recent posts by .

Tru Thoughts return to London’s KOKO this Saturday

The independent record label Tru Thoughts are back at London’s KOKO after a sell-out show in 2011. Once again showcasing the diverse range of musicians they support, this club night is enticingly filled with an energetic mixture of soul, funk, electronic and tropical rhythms.

Flying back from Colombia especially for the evening is UK-born Will Holland, better known as Quantic. The DJ, producer and musician will be gracing Soundcrash with an eclectic DJ set: characteristically mixing music and genres from all across the world. Holland worked some of 2012’s best releases, including Ondatropica’s self-titled debut and partnering up with British soul singer Alice Russell and the Combo Bárbaro on Look Around the Corner.

Full line-up:

Quantic (DJ set)
Hidden Orchestra
Zed Bias aka Maddslinky
Rodney P
Wrongtom meets Deemas J
DJ sets from HINT and Robert Luis
