Latitude 2012

Posted on March 12th, 2012 in News, Recent Posts by .

The countdown has truly begun.

I’m not sure about you but I can’t cast my eye over a social media site without updates on festival line-ups and people wavering over which tickets to buy…

One of my festival highlights of last year was unquestionably Latitude, and I was pleased as punch to see that this year’s line-up included even more epic artists including Songlines favourites Amadou and Mariam, Fatoumata Diawara and Buena Vista Social Club, among the slightly more avant-garde but equally as cool: Bon Iver, Tune-Yards, Alabama Shakes, Esperanza Spalding and Francois & The Atlas Mountains and Bwani Junction.

Music-wise, Latitude is already shaping up to be a dream weekend, and that’s before we’ve even mentioned the theatre, dance, painted sheep, churros, gorgeous setting, comedy, cinema or classical music…

Only 137 days to go…!
