Lady Maisery Profile

The English folk trio Lady Maisery are known for their gorgeous harmonies and for blurring the space between tradition and innovation

Stunning harmonies are the signature sound of this folk trio, who blur the lines between traditional and contemporary song. Between members Rowan Rheingans, Hannah James and Hazel Askew they play the harp, accordion, viola, fiddle, concertina, banjo, bansitar, piano and at times ankle bells and foot percussion. They are also known for reviving diddling, the art of singing tunes without words. Their third album, Cycle, includes beautiful examples of this all-but lost art, and was a Top of the World in #123.
