Jenő Lisztes and Balázs Unger, the two Hungarian cimbalom players in this quartet aren’t brothers – but the band includes both their siblings in Gergő Unger and László Lisztes. The repertoire ranges from flamboyant Gypsy jazz to the most lyrical and delicate tunes on a virtuoso ride. It’s as fine a showpiece for the cimbalom as you are likely to hear.
