Watch: Dona Onete rocks the Amazon with new single 'Festa do Tubarão'

In her stunning new video, Dona Onete leads the party with her latest single 'Festa do Tubarão' (Shark Party).
A stunning new video directed by Lírio Ferreira and Natara Ney see veteran Brazilian singer Dona Onete leading the party with her latest single 'Festa do Tubarão' (Shark Party).
The video features an exquisitely shot extended introduction exploring the people and the places of Onete's hometown, the city of Belém in the far northern Brazilian state of Pará. We then join the carnival of São Caetano de Odivelas, where she sets fire to the party with her song, backed by a full brass band and dancers aplenty.
'Festa do Tubarão' contains all of Onete’s usual Afro-Amazonian flair and offers a small glimpse into her forthcoming album Rebujo.
Rebujo is out on May 24 2019.
