Turkish singer Gaye Su Akyol releases new video

The winner of Best Artist in the Songlines Music Awards 2019 and Istanbul-based singer Gaye Su Akyol releases a timely new video

Two years after the release of her award-winning album, İstikrarlı Hayal Hakikattir, the Turkish singer-songwriter Gaye Su Akyol has released a new single and video 'İsyan Manifestosu' (Rebellion Manifesto) taken from the digital EP Yort Savul: İSYAN MANİFESTOSU! (Get Out of the Way: REBELLION MANIFESTO!), out now on Glitterbeat Records.
Musically it's classic Gaye Su Akyol – a futuristic mash-up of 70s psychedelia and Anatolian melodies and the video, a celebration of rebellion that ends with the lyrics: 'I am what I always wanted to be, May the others mind their own business.'
