MOST Balkan music project seeks new applicants
MOST, the Bridge for Balkan Music project, issues second call for networking scheme to assist regional musicians, managers, festival and clubs
The Balkans are a vibrant scene for world music, but one too often underrepresented in the global music market. With its focus on nine countries (Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania, Macedonia, Romania and Bulgaria), and run by a consortium of nine partners (including Songlines) located all around Europe, MOST is a holistic project that seeks to change that.
MOST have just issued their second invitation for applications from both Balkan world music artists and managers, as well as festivals and venues from anywhere inside Europe, with an eye to reaching an international audience. Submissions are being accepted between November 10 and December 12 2021.
