Other features include a deep dive into the rich musical traditions of Morocco’s Jebala mountains; an interview with Malian guitarist Vieux Farka Touré; we visit Budapest’s impressive new House of Music, a museum and venue dedicated to the sounds of Hungary and beyond; a Spotlight on folk big band Bellowhead, who are reassembling for a November road trip; a My World interview with BBC Radio 3 presenter Georgia Mann; a Festival Pass from LEAF Festival in the mountains of North Carolina; a Beginner’s Guide to folk-rock veterans Steeleye Span; plus all the latest news, plus concert, CD and world cinema reviews.

This month’s Top of the World album (available as a CD and download) includes Sonny Singh, Vieux Farka Touré and Sam Shackleton, plus an extra five bonus tracks featuring music from Bellowhead, The Master Musicians of Jajouka led by Bachir Attar and LASS.
